Elaine Wilkins, Director at our Bournemouth office, has long championed local initiatives that make a meaningful difference. This year, she’s delighted that Antony Batty & Company Bournemouth Office has chosen to support Plants and Minds, a Dorset-based mental health charity rooted in therapeutic horticulture, by sponsoring the month of April in their 2026 calendar.
The charity runs Cherry Tree Nursery in Bournemouth and Chestnut Nursery in Poole, where adults facing life-impacting mental health conditions find purpose and recovery through nature and the nurturing of plants. Team Members grow a wide range of top-quality plants for sale, with all proceeds funding horticultural therapy activities.
Elaine has known Maria Tidy, Community Liaison Officer at Cherry Tree Nursery, for over 20 years. Speaking about the sponsorship, she said:
