Lauren Matlock

Lauren started her Insolvency career as a junior administrator in May 2012, carrying out a range of tasks, including sending out reports, welcoming guests, answering telephone calls and banking cheques, as part of her learning process. Her insolvency knowledge grew quickly, and she became an insolvency case adminstrator/manager, with a typical case load of 50-70 cases, focused on CVLs and MVLs. Lauren also took meetings with directors of companies going through these insolvency procedures, which she enjoyed as it built up the good working relationships that any case administrator needs.

Lauren joined Antony Batty and partners early in January 2020, here she is learning about other insolvency processes, whilst continuing her work with CVLs and MVLs. She is currently awaiting her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) exam result, after which she will start studying for the Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) qualification.
